Extension Class Teaching, Certificated POLICY NO: 444

Certificated employees of this school district are authorize to accept employment during nonschool hours as teachers of extension classes or night school classes sponsored by approved colleges and universities or other recognized sponsoring agencies with the written approval of immediate supervisor.

If such employment has interfered with a teacher's performance of his/her regular duties, the supervisor, after first notifying the teacher, may advise the sponsoring institution that he/she does not recommend the teacher for such employment.
