Resignation, Non-Certificated POLICY NO: 494

Termination of employment by a non-certificated school employee must be given in writing ten (10) days prior to the final day of intended employment. Early termination may be granted by the board upon request, provided that suitable replacement can be secured.

Resignations submitted with less than ten (10) days' notice will result in forfeiture of vacation privileges, unless the reason for resignation is of such a nature as to make it impossible for the employee to give required notice.
