Teacher Aides and Volunteers POLICY NO: 481

The school district, when advisable, will utilize the services of teacher aides and volunteers, paid or unpaid, who may be certificated or non-certificated

Assignment of aides shall be under the direction of the school district administrators. Assignment of duties shall be restricted to those types of activities which the aide or volunteer, in the opinion of the administrator, is competent to perform, including but not restricted to clerical work, routine classroom activities, checking of paperwork, hall, playground, and lunchroom supervision.
