Non-Certificated Payment Schedule POLICY NO: 476

Salaries shall be determined on an hourly basis with the exception of the school lunch director, facilities manager, transportation director, business manager, payroll clerk, custodial services supervisor and school social worker and will comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act.  Time cards are required in order to comply with the regulations of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Employees who work less than 12 months per year and who also work 30 or more hours per week will have the option of being paid hourly on a 12-month basis (September – August).  Those employees who work irregular hours; i.e., bus drivers, will be paid for actual hours worked.

If overtime is accrued, it will be paid in the month it is accrued or the following month.  In cases of emergency closures, the hours will be deducted the month of the closure or the following month.

Employees will be paid once a month on the twenty-second of each calendar month.  If the twenty-second falls on a Saturday or Sunday, then said payment will be made on the Friday preceding.
