Sunnyside is a participant in the State of Idaho Department of Education School Improvement/School Accreditation Program.

As part of the program, the school staff, parents, and community members have collaborated in creating a plan for school improvement which includes:

  a school community profile (available for review at the school site)
  a vision statement
  a mission statement
  a philosophy statement
  an action plan for school improvement that includes goals and objectives for the school
  a voluntary parent-student-school compact
