Spring IRI Testing is scheduled for the second week in May. These tests are given to all Kindergarten through 3rd grade students.

Early Dismissal for students on Wednesday, May 16th at 12:45. Staff will be attending collaboration meetings in the afternoon.

Kindergarten Round-Up registration will be on Wednesday, May 16th. Children need to be five years old on or before September 1, 2007. Please bring a certified birth certificate and immunization record of your child when you register

Awards Ceremony is Thursday, May 17th at 9:00 a.m. We encourage parents & those who have volunteered this past year as chaperones, classroom helpers, Art Families & misc. to please attend. Your volunteer work is greatly appreciated & we would like to acknowledge your hard work at this time.

KMS Orientation for all 5th grade students is Friday, May 18th.

C.S.O. �Spring Celebration� is Saturday, May 19th beginning at 11:00 a.m.
We will have a parade for the kids, BBQ lunch & an �Art Walk� to display student�s ceramic masks. More information will be sent home at a later time.

Highway 3 Elections will be held at Canyon Elementary on Tuesday, May 22, 2007. Voting will be from 8:00 a.m. � 8:00 p.m.

Memorial Day is Monday, May 28th. There will be NO SCHOOL in observance of this holiday. Enjoy your extended weekend!
